dog recues a drowning puppy in Houston

Many dogs drown in home swimming pools. It’s estimated that 5,000 family pets drown every year in swimming pools . Most of these pets are dogs. That’s why I’ve taken the time to write this article and to include a few videos to make a point. Watch this first video. It is simply titled, “Dog Rescues a Drowning Puppy”

Didn’t that video touch your emotions and grab your attention? Did you see how easy that little dog fell into the pool? That’s how it usually happens to dogs and other household pets. They are careless and not paying attention and they simply fall in. Unfortunately, a lot of them don’t ever get out.

The dog in this video managed to swim 34 minutes before it was rescued. That is a bit unusual. Most dogs can last only about 20 minutes before drowning.

Watch this second video. This video is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fortunately for this drowning puppy, there was a quick nine-year-old boy nearby that saved its life. Drowning dogs won’t always be that lucky.

In this third video below, a young puppy is near the pool and not being properly supervised. The puppy accidentally falls into the pool. Thankfully, one of the puppy’s owners’ see’s the lil’ puppy drowning, rushes in and saves the dog.

"We Feel Embarrassed But Extremely Fortunate..."

The husband explains that it was their careless fault. They normally have a fence around the pool and had temporarily removed it. That mistake almost cost them their puppy’s life. He admits that it was his “stupid mistake”.

At the end of this video, the owner makes the statement, “If you take down a pool fence, put a temporary one up straight away – we take full responsibility for what happened, we feel embarrassed but extremely fortunate that our Puppy was fine”.

In this last video, a Tennessee woman named Jennie Tatum jumps into a frozen swimming pool to save her dog named Sid. Her body was working on pure adrenaline when she saw her dog submerged in the ice water. The pool was covered with a 2-inch layer of ice.

At first, she couldn’t find the dog. Persistently, she looks for the dog and after a few minutes, she recovers the dog and rushes it to the vet. Sid required a lot of oxygen, but the veterinarian saves the dog. Watch :

The dogs in all these videos survived, but that is not always the case. The point that I want to make is this… Don’t let this happen at your home. None of the animals in these videos were being properly protected by a safe, home pool fence. It happens much more often than most people think! Dogs, cats, and a lot of other family pets drown needlessly in home swimming pools.

You are not obligated in any way to do business with us. Life Saver Of Houston was started because the owner’s son nearly drowned in a home swimming pool. The owner, Wayne, knows that not all homeowners can immediately afford a really safe swimming pool fence. However, all homeowners need to know what is available to them. Give Wayne a call...You might not be one of his customers right away, but you might be in the future.
